Equipment Service Associate
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Perform equipment service responsibilities for the Machining Dept.
Daily equipment checks
Recover start-up/stop operations
Perform regular and emergency maintenance on CNC and support equipment
Ensure equipment reliability
Respond quickly and professionally to all downtime issues
Support in recovery of downtime
Report generation
Daily completion of work orders (Maximo)
Proposals for major expenses and investments
Abnormal report and 5P's
Support department production
Daily Tasks Performed:
Provide maintenance expertise on equipment problems by performing routine maintenance, and developing both short and long term countermeasures on all machining line
Strive to reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at the root cause
Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge:
Experience in maintaining, repairing and servicing manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, robotic equipment, pumps, control panels, power distribution equipment, etc.
Minimum Job Relevant
Experience:
3 to 5 years of relevant experience or graduated from appropriate trade school
Minimum of 1 year in a production maintenance environment, preferably in the Automotive industry
Degree / Certification Required:
High School Diploma
Technical / Trade School Diploma (mechanical, electrical, or electrical technology)
Required Skills:
Must have strong CNC, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Strong knowledge of PLC programming
Willingness to learn
Desired Skills & Abilities:
Ability to teach others
Ability to read blue prints
Additional Work Factors:
Environment candidates will be working in: ALMC / FEMC
Estimated amount of overtime (Hrs/wk): 2 / 3 hours
Frequency, average duration of travel: Minimal
