Business Ladder/ Innovation P/L
Duties/Responsibilities
Havethe initiative to undertake or continue a task or activity with minimalsupervisor influence
Taskedwith reducing supply chain inefficiency & waste thru innovation
Monitorperformance issues within SCD to identify value added opportunities for continuousimprovement
Leadteams to participate in the innovation process
Benchmarksupply chain activities against other organizations ? Lead special project investigations forinnovation in processes, technology and strategies
Develop,implement and track results of innovative initiatives from start to finish
Workclosely with end user(s) to develop best path forward on department level projects
Leadconsensus building activity between external departments and SCD team representatives
Negotiatewith external department and SCD teams to ensure cost/quality/safety/delivery expectations are achieved and balanced
Abilityto travel up to 1 week per month if required
Daily Task Performed
Monitorconsolidation center activities and performance
Developschedules and milestone charts for vanning and case pack activities Analyzeparts flow
developimproved themes and activities to make SC more efficient Follow up withmanufacturing depts. to evaluate and improve performance
Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge
Knowledgeof HMA Supply Chain processes, systems and constraints.
Provenability to apply a "DST-PDCA" method for continuous improvement.
Provenability in project management.
Provenability to develop and document business strategy proposals.
Provenability to apply concept of cost and payback.
Abilityto arrange thoughts and ideas in a method to present clearly and concisely.
StrongExcel and PowerPoint skills
Provenability to deal with adverse situations and resolve conflict
Relevant Experience- (Type &Length of Time)
2yrs of material handling or automotive manufacturing experience
1yr. experience developing floor layouts & managing process change points
Education/Degree CertificationRequired
4yr. business or 2 yr. technical
equivalentsupply chain / engineer experience
Required Skills
M.O.S.Texperience building processes ALS case pack system experience
Experiencingunloading trailers and delivering parts in supply chain environment
Abilityto manage multiple priorities and demands.
Flexibilityin work schedule, (work days, nights, split shifts, and short-notice OT).
Communicationskills (written and oral) Ability to teach / train other associates
Experiencewith maximizing efficiencies with floor layout adjustments
Experienceleading a project and reporting to upper mgt.
Desired Skills and Abilities
Strongunderstanding of supply chain production floor
Experiencewith developing and implementing floor layout changes
Strongexcel skills (pivot tables & charting)
GoodPowerPoint skills
Experiencein some method of time study / process set up
Proficientin Microsoft Excel (Charts, Pivot Tables, V-Lookup, Perform Calculations)
Strongpresentation skills and Microsoft Power point experience
Knowledgeof warehousing, inventory, and distribution operations
Additional Work Factors
Environment candidates will be working in: Office / Production Floor
Estimated amount of overtime: 1 hr / day
Frequency, average duration of travel: as needed locally



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
