Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge (Know how)
Ability to apply accounting theory & US GAAP to accounting transactions.
Basic understanding of cost accounting & variance analysis within a manufacturing environment
Prioritized duties and Responsibilities
Cost Project Leader for designated Company Project(s)
Improve HMA internal processes related to Project and In-House Costing
Analysis of financial transactions, trend, and results. Track project expense activity. Preparation and presentation of periodic financial reports
Supporting HMA Mass Production budgeting and closing activities
Support HMA and North American Accounting/Finance business plan themes
Daily Tasks Performed
Record daily transactions
Coordinate large project cost analysis
Tracking financial transactions
Provide periodic status updates
Analyzing gaps to the plan
Preparation of monthly reports: create and report project cost reporting and estimates
Minimun Job Relevant Experience (length of service)
3-5 years in accounting with experience in financial or cost accounting
Degree or certification required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA or CMA preferred
Required Skills (Musts)
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Knowledge of Cost Accounting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving & decision making skills

Desired Skills and Abilities (Wants)
Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft Financials, and Hyperion Essbase

Environment Associate will work in Office / Production Floor
Estimates Weekly Overtime 5 - 10 Hours
Frequency and Duration of Travel 10%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
