Position Description
Business Ladder/New Model Accountant
1. Cost Project Leader for designated New Model Project(s)
2. Support MLS (Manufacturing Location Strategy) cost calculations: In-House vs Outsource decisions
3. Support and Review Trial Event Pricing
4. Improve HMA internal processes related to New Model and In-House Cost
5. Support North American Accounting/Finance business plan themes
6. Miscellaneous Invoicing
7. Supporting HMA Mass Production budgeting and closing activities
8. Analysis of financial transactions, trend, and results. Track project expense activity. Also, preparation of periodic financial reports.
Daily Task Performed
Record daily transactions
Coordinate large project cost analysis
Tracking financial transactions
Provide periodic status updates
Analyzing gaps to the plan
Preparation of monthly reports: create and report project cost reporting and estimates
Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge
Ability to apply accounting theory & US GAAP to accounting transactions.
Basic understanding of cost accounting & variance analysis within a manufacturing environment
Relevant Experience- (Type & Length of Time)
3-5 years in accounting with experience in financial or cost accounting
Education/Degree Certification Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA or CMA preferred
Required Skills
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Knowledge of Cost Accounting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving & decision making skills
Teamwork capabilities
Desired Skills and Abilities
Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft Financials, and Hyperion Essbase
Experience in manufacturing environment.
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
