Electrical Manufacturing Technician

Position Core Role:
Build, test and check the electrical function of equipment per standards. Under general supervision, exercises judgment in accordance with defined policy, procedures, and techniques. Communicate job status up, and laterally to management and customer, and prepare appropriate documentation. Manage job contents, cost, schedule and labor to achieve set targets. Regular face to face contact with various plant departments to monitor production equipment running status and follow-up for potential improvement.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Assembly, installation, modification and commissioning for electrical portion of new and existing equipment per drawings and standards.
Upload, download, interpret, and modify PLC ladder logic as required to troubleshoot, and test equipment.
Support the quoting and specification development of various jobs, and equipment as needed.
Planning, scheduling, and management of jobs as directed, including maintaining proper documentation.
Completion of required documentation to accurately reflect equipment status for quality, and safety.
Monitor production status in specified areas to support production stability, and quality.
Daily Tasks:
Organize project area and parts, 5-S activity.
Build control panels, j-boxes, cabinet, panel wiring, building cable assemblies, and build any panels needed for testing.
Install wiring and electrical components to equipment.
Test all work and document per standards.
Support daily plant production operations.
Attend daily and weekly department equipment meetings, and track problem areas.
Support other EGA Divisions with technical assistance in support of New Model and large project activity.
Manage contract manpower to complete work.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Read and understand basic electric hardwire drawings.
Experience with wiring control cabinets, junction boxes, electrical panels per a drawing.
Familiar with PLC ladder logic (preferably Fanuc, Omron, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley).
Able to use the required tools and equipment needed to perform the jobs and tasks.
Ability to operate industrial equipment i.e. forklift.
Basic Microsoft office proficiency.
Load and utilize software related to jobs, and equipment.
Required Experience:
Minimum two years working in a related filed or position based on educational background.
High School Diploma or GED minimum 5 yrs. experience
Associate Degree in similar field minimum 2 yrs. experience.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Position Factors:
40% shop environment / 30% in plant / 30% in office
Work requires work entering environments with various cutting oils, coolants, sealers, paint residue etc.
Some travel required to multiple Honda production sites as well as vendor sites for equipment confirmation, inspections, and installation for up to 2 weeks at a time.
International travel is possible.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
