Perform problem root cause analysis for complex static quality issues.
Working with other departments for problem containment.
Able to generate temporary and permanent c/m ideas quickly.
Chair and lead countermeasure activity and set c/m improvement direction with other mfg. department quality leaders.
Generate problem summary report and present findings to management team.
Self-motivated associate and work well with other associates.
Verify Counter-Measure Effectiveness Activity.
Support new model theme from beginning (Dan Lot) to the end of mass production build.
Daily Tasks Performed
Attending GDP meeting.
Generate temporary and permanent c/m ideas.
Investigate problem root cause analysis ? hands on
Chair and drive C/M activity with other department
Utilize various measurement techniques to troubleshoot problems (CMM, Calipers ,etc.)
Use of CATIA to review drawings
Minimum Job Relevant Experience (length of service)
CO-OP/Internship/Full Time with manufacturing company.
Degree or certification required
BS Engineering degree OR 7 year's equivalent Automotive manufacturing experience
Required Skills (Musts)
Understanding of dimensional tolerencing
Can demonstrate basic problem solving logic
Can demonstrate basic part drawing knowledge
Can demonstrate basic measurement tool aptitude.
Desired Skills and Abilities (Wants)
CATIA-DPM Data, Enovia, VisVSA CMM Equipment and layout
Environment Associate will work in: Office / Production Floor
Estimates Weekly Overtime: 5hrs/wk
Frequency and Duration of Travel: Monthly, 1-2 days

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
