Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge

Knowledge of basic measurement tools
Automotive manufacturing related analysis throughout CAD system.
Prioritized Duties and Responsibilities
Identify data trends/concerns within market data (warranty, survey, etc.)
Issue countermeasure work orders to document key problems.
Communicate market issues to responsible departments and support investigation and counter measure activity. Lead complex problem solving for market issues.
Judge countermeasure effectiveness and drive appropriate next step activity.
Call and lead meetings with appropriate departments to drive activity.
Effectively communicate complex investigations to management.
Other projects as assigned by Team Manager
Daily Tasks Performed
Create reports to summarize and communicate market conditions for internal customers and management.
Daily review of warranty and other data for identification of safety, regulation or trending problems.
Investigate processes, operation standards, drawings, and specs.
Provide technical support and technical recommendations for complex problems
Stop outflow problems into market by promoting quick containment and effective countermeasures
Maintain documentation of investigations for QIS within CoRe MQ.
Ability to effectively communicate/present to mgmt required.
Exhibit strong level of commitment and demonstrate appropriate urgency for timely problem solving.
Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Job Relevant Experience (length of service)
2 years Automotive Manufacturing or Quality analysis experience.
Degree or certification required
BS in Engineering (ME, EE and/or IE preferred) or equivalent manufacturing work experience
Required Skills (Musts)
Proven problem solver with ability to put relevant information together for useful, logical conclusions.
Effective communication (written and verbal), including ability to write clear and comprehensive technical reports. Ability to learn with minimal formal training (self-learner).
Ability to lead meetings & projects.
Ability to perform work in a team environment.
Ability to read drawings.
Strong MS Office skills.
Desired Skills and Abilities (Wants)
Working knowledge of automotive systems as they pertain to market issues.
Understanding of automotive warranty data.
Previous experience in an automotive production environment.
Environment Associate will work in: Office/Production Floor/QA Building
Estimates Weekly Overtime: 2-4 hours

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
