Human Resources/Associate Relations Representative

Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge

Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and systems.

Knowledge of Employment/Labor Practices,

Strong Project Management Skills,

Practical knowledge of general HR functions (Benefits, Compensation/Payroll),

Demonstrated Analytical and Presentation Skills

Prioritized Duties and Responsibilities

Provide customer service related to Associate Relation/Human Resources functions.

Develop, implement and manage strategic Human Resources projects/activities.

Develop Associate Relations/Human Resources management systems.

Develop concepts, strategies and SAP's to implement key Human Resources initiatives.

Participate in and lead project teams working with subject matter experts, internal departments and other Human Resources team member to address business needs.

Present recommendations to management for consensus and approval.

Daily Tasks Performed

Provides policy and procedure explanation to newly hired employees and current employees, as necessary.

Demonstrates an appropriate balance between company and employee advocacy in dealings with internal and external customers.

Communicates with employees as required in resolving conflicts and acting as a mediator in facilitating resolution.

Assists leaders in identification of aberrant behavior, Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) referrals, and other issues as required.

Assists leaders in identifying, documenting and communicating results and deficiencies in performance.

Reviews performance appraisals and provides feedback to leaders prior to communicating with employees.

Associate works 2nd shift rotations

Minimum Job Relevant Experience (length of service)

3 plus years of progressive HR/AR or management experience

Degree or certification required

Bachelor of Science in Human Resources or Business related field or 7+ years? equivalent experience in Human Resources or Management experience

Required Skills (Musts)

Prior manufacturing experience.

Prior HR Generalist experience.

Excellent customer service, teambuilding and interpersonal skills.

Strong PC skills in the MS Application (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Prior experience performing investigations, compiling results and presenting findings.

Desired Skills and Abilities (Wants)

Demonstrated good judgment and decision-making capability.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Strong capability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities and needs.

Environment Associate will work in:?? Office and Plant Floor?

Estimates Weekly Overtime:? 5 hours per week

Frequency and Duration of Travel:? 1-2 times a year

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
